Rebecca Shaw Archaeological Services is a small professional company which is based in Glasgow with a further office in Dumfries & Galloway and offers competitive rates to undertake work in all areas of Scotland. The company is run by Rebecca Shaw who has worked as a field archaeologist for 12 years and is an Associate member of the Institute of Field Archaeology. Rebecca was brought up on a hill sheep farm in Galloway and is therefore able to offer a comprehensive understanding of both farming issues as well as the complications of the farming calender! Rebecca graduated from Glasgow University in 1998 with an MA (Hons) in Archaeology and worked for various professional field units, as well as spending a year with Historic Scotland as an Assistant Inspector of Monuments, before establishing her own small company. Rebecca has a particular interest in mills and toll houses of Scotland.
